Art Deco house with an asymmetrical composition, designed by the architect Louis Ténaerts (des Gadeaux) in 1923 and signed to the right of the door. The two-storey elevation under a mansard roof is in red brick set off with white stone and bluestone. The door, in a white-stone surround, has a mitred lintel bearing the inscription "MON-GÎTE" and jambs with a wide triangular splay; the windows have stepped brick jambs, and the stone lintels, pads and sills are cut in triangles. A small triangular oriel on a timber base with brackets enlivens the entrance bay, and in the main bay a trapezoidal projection carries a terrace in front of a triple window. The door with its grilled trapezoidal opening and the front garden railing survive; the house is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
