Former office and warehouse of the Van Heurck town house on Paleisstraat, built together with it after an 1897 design by the architect Michel De Braey, which the physician René Van Heurck had converted in 1922 into a radiology practice by the architects Vincent Cols and Jules De Roeck. The works comprised a limited adaptation of the interior, the addition of an extra storey and the renewal of the façade in the Art Deco style. Three bays wide and three storeys high under a flat roof, the rendered and painted façade rests on a bluestone plinth. Symmetrical, the ground and first floors are articulated by colossal lesenes with a stepped profile, with a central panel with a diamond motif on the parapet, a typical fluted frieze and a keystone, while the top floor is treated as an attic under a wooden cornice. The wrought-iron entrance doors and the wooden window joinery survive. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
