An Art Deco apartment building at the corner of Leopoldstraat and Willem Tellstraat, built for the widow L. Cavents to a 1922 design by the architects Vincent Cols and Jules De Roeck. Originally planned with a mansard roof and gables, it was given during construction, in 1923, an attic storey under a flat roof and polygonally finished projecting bays. The red brick and white stone facade, articulated by pilasters, emphasises the corner and the entrance bay, both crowned by polygonal gables with volutes, while reliefs, bead mouldings and medallions reinforce its Art Deco character. The ground floor held a shop and offices, and each of the three upper floors two apartments.
