Art Deco garage built under a 1920 permit application for Raymond Ruys, who ran the nearby Ruys jewellery shop, although the files do not name its designer; in 1926 the architects Vincent Cols and Jules De Roeck added a storey, probably for a chauffeur, and in 2004 it was renovated as a dwelling. The one-bay, two-storey façade combines red and purple brick with a few white natural-stone details and a bluestone plinth; the segmental-arched gateway with keystone is topped by a projecting section continued as an attic with a curved mock pediment, with an octagonal medallion bearing the client's initials RR. The wrought-iron garage door, which repeats these initials, survives. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
