Garage shed of the public limited company L'Acide Carbonique Pur, a producer of carbon dioxide, built by the contractor Entreprises Blaton-Aubert of Schaerbeek to a 1938 design; offices were fitted out at the same time in the neighbouring neoclassical house of 1878. This single-aisle shed, on a rectangular plan, is spanned by a steel roof truss. The utilitarian building stands out for an advertising façade in the Art Deco style: a ground floor of yellow brick with recessed joints on a blue-stone plinth, and a painted rendered upper part with a typical stepped crowning. The blind wall carries an advertising relief depicting two cylindrical carbon dioxide containers linked by a cloud of gas, made of rendered metal mesh. Only the window and the door fanlight are original. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
