Apartment building in the Art Deco style on the corner of Jan Van Rijswijcklaan and Korte Lozanastraat, built after a 1923 design by the architect Raymond Ceurvorst for the stockbroker Arthur Helsmoortel. It belongs to Ceurvorst's early works, which, according to the inventory, combine a conventional façade composition with discreet Art Deco ornament. Of eight bays and four storeys under a pseudo-mansard, it has a stone façade on Jan Van Rijswijcklaan and a brick-and-stone façade on Korte Lozanastraat, with vertical articulation and regular windows; the canted corner is accentuated by a shallow bay window, pilasters and a taller top. The sober Art Deco ornament consists of fluting and low-relief floral motifs on the parapets and the entrance, with a flower basket in the top. The building comprises a shop with a dwelling on the ground floor and three modest rental flats above; the joinery survives, except for the altered shopfront. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
