Two adjoining Art Deco apartment buildings, designed in 1928 by the architect Louis Van Rijmenant (inscription on the ground floor) and built by the contractor Jozef Taeymans: no. 29 for Armand Perreman, no. 31 for the architect's own account, who himself occupied an apartment there. The symmetrical façade of red brick and natural stone on a bluestone plinth has six storeys, with two side projections with round-arched entrances and oriels, and a central pier; oriels and pier continue above the cornice in stepped crownings. The entrance halls and stairwells retain their marble cladding, wrought-iron balustrades and colourful leaded glass windows with floral motifs, as well as a Thièry lift of 1930 at no. 31. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
