Early Art Deco town house built for the widow Staes-Lanthier to a 1922 design by the architect Raymond Ceurvorst (inscription). The sober natural-stone cornice façade on a bluestone plinth has three bays, a basement and three storeys under a flat roof; on the upper floors it is enlivened by an undulating bow window with a triple window crowned by a wrought-iron balcony, and it is finished with a classical entablature. The discreet ornament is limited to garlands, dentils, a frieze above the door and sills on the top floor; the varnished timber joinery survives. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
