Building erected for the diamond worker Wolf Rabstein to a design by the architect Raymond Ceurvorst (1928), probably comprising the client's own home and a rental floor, together with a small pavilion at the back of the garden. A well-preserved example of his early work, it combines a fairly conventional façade composition with discreet Art Deco ornament. The three-bay, three-storey cornice façade under a pseudo-mansard, in white natural stone on a bluestone plinth, is marked on the bel-étage by a bow window with a round-arched triple window between fluted pilasters, topped by a balcony; the ground-floor pilasters have Art Deco flower-basket capitals, and the basket-arched garage door and the front door retain their ironwork.
