Restrained Art Deco town house built for the physician Frans Herman to a 1922 design by the architect Raymond Ceurvorst. The brick cornice façade, worked with natural stone and bluestone, has two unequal bays and three storeys; in 1928 Ceurvorst added a three-sided oriel across the full width of the first floor, and a pseudo-mansard was added in 1932, removing the original gable. The very sober elevation is crowned by a chevron panel on the top floor; the timber joinery survives. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
