Art Deco town house built for Jos Van Rompaey to a 1926 design by the architect Raymond Ceurvorst. The natural-stone cornice façade, with three storeys under a slate pseudo-mansard, is framed by giant pilasters and emphasises the bel-étage, treated as a bow window with round arches. The decoration combines geometric mouldings, fluted pilasters and floral Art Deco ornaments; the varnished timber window frames and the Art Deco wrought iron of the door and garage door survive. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
