Apartment building with a garage in the Art Deco style, built after a 1922-1923 design by the architect François Dens for Vermaut, Calluy & Daris, R. Vermaut subsequently running the "Garage Saint-Antoine" there; it comprised two shops with dwellings, eleven rental flats, the garage in the rear building and a warehouse on Kleine Kauwenberg. In the second version of the design, the one carried out, dated July 1923, the rear building became a motor garage spanned by a reinforced-concrete portal structure with sheds. The four-bay, five-storey building under a slate pseudo-mansard has a cement-rendered façade imitating stone, now painted, above an altered ground floor. From the second floor, the wide side projections are framed by colossal pilasters with stepped brackets and marked by a two-sided bay window and a bow window crowned by wrought-iron balustrades, while three-sided bay windows distinguish the central bays of the first floor. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
