Art Deco commercial and office building, created for Camille Bogaert to a 1925 design by the architect François Dens by converting an early-1850s neoclassical mansion, which was raised by three storeys and extended with a stair hall and a new six-storey rear wing. The rendered and painted five-bay, five-storey façade with cornice under a mock mansard is articulated by giant pilaster strips and dominated by a three-bay central projection carried up into the roof; the set-back attic storey has a continuous wrought-iron balcony. The ground floor, whose shopfront has been renewed, incorporates the entrance to the adjoining school of the Dames de l'Instruction Chrétienne, whose doorway keeps a Beaux-Arts wrought-iron door. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
