Warehouse in a moderate Art Deco style, built after a 1931 design by the architect Alfred De Leenheer and completed in 1932 for the public limited company "De Wolnatie", one of the Antwerp port "nations", which took its name from the old "natie van den wollewerke" founded in 1458. It is the only new building by De Leenheer known from the interwar years. Built over cellars with a reinforced-concrete frame, the three-bay, four-storey building under a slate pseudo-mansard has a red-brick façade with brick-on-edge courses on the parapets and above the concrete lintels. The axial composition emphasises the wider central projection, marked above the carriage entrance by the inscription "WOLNATIE", while colossal lesenes with stepped tops articulate the upper floors. Renovated in 1987 into shops, garages and student rooms, the building lost its three carriage entrances with roller shutters, replaced by an entrance between shopfronts, and its joinery has been renewed. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
