Art Deco warehouse built for the sworn weighers' and measurers' nation "De Trouw" to a 1922 design by architect Jos. Baeyens, and completed in 1923; a stone in the rear façade records the laying of the foundation stone on 17 December 1922. Built entirely of cast-in-situ reinforced concrete, the five-storey building under a pitched roof has a rendered façade in imitation natural stone, now painted; its three left-hand bays form a projection whose gable, originally pointed, was later flattened, and the narrow entrance bay bears the emblem of Hermes at the top. Renovated and converted into a residential and office complex in 1998-2000, the warehouse is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
