Parish church on a central plan, built in 1932-1941 to a design by Jef Huygh, winner of the competition, in an Art Deco style inspired by the Byzantine style. The first phase was tendered in May 1932 and the church consecrated on 9 August 1934; the second phase (tower, gatehouse, service rooms) was completed in July 1941. Damaged during the Second World War, it was repaired in 1947, with finishing works completed in 1948-1949. A brick building with a central copper dome, it has been a protected monument since 1988.
