The Lianahalle is a handsome town house in an expressive Art Deco style, built as the personal residence of the architect Jef Huygh to a design of 1923. An architect's office in Neo-Moorish style was built in the garden and Huygh designed the entire interior furnishing. The name pays tribute to his wife Helena Boen; the couple lived there from 1924 until the architect's death in 1946. The two-part facade combines brown-red brick and white stone beneath a tall pseudo-mansard roof, with a sculpted white-stone doorway. The house has been a protected monument since 1988.
