Townhouse in a restrained Art Deco style, built to a 1935 design by the architect Jef Huygh for Petrus Leysen-Scheyltjens by the Antwerp developer S.A. Entreprises Immobilières, Financières et Commerciales. Above a high bluestone plinth, the façade is clad in white natural stone up to half its height and then in brown brick, and is organised around a symmetrical semicircular five-window oriel on the first floor, flanked on the ground floor by small elliptical lights, a recurring motif in Huygh's work. In 1960 the owner Ch. Ducheyne had the ground floor enlarged by the architects Vincent Cols and Jules De Roeck; the original window frames were replaced after 2009, but the front door with its wrought ironwork survives. The building is recorded in the architectural heritage inventory.
