Maison Art déco, rue du Tournoi 24

Asymmetrical Art Deco town house, signed and dated « F. Van MEULECOM / Architecte 1923 » on the ground floor. The red-brick façade, enhanced with white stone elements, stands on a blue stone base; the ground floor is marked by broad bands and the upper floors by giant pilasters. On the upper floor, a curved oriel topped by a terrace with a balustrade fronts a triple window. The wooden cornice on grouped modillions continues the line of the pilasters. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
