On the corner of Rue Africaine, an Art Deco house with a ground-floor shop, designed in 1922 by the architect François Van Meulecom. The three corner bays are unified on the first two levels by render and heavy quarter-round moulded surrounds, which carry three terraces with their original wrought-iron railings; a two-storey trapezoidal oriel rises above the private entrance. The shop retains its original metal frames, with a transom filled with a stained-glass panel depicting a doe in the moonlight. The building is recorded in the legal inventory.
