A group of five Art Deco housing blocks built on the corner of rue Gisbert Combaz for the cooperative society Le Foyer saint-gillois, signed "F(rançois) van Meulecom, arch, 1927". The six-storey elevations, in red brick enlivened with white imitation stone and bluestone, are punctuated by curved oriels that light the stairwells and carry terraces. The corner building follows the curve of the streets; its shopfronts were altered in 1935 by the architect Éloi Drake.
