Art Deco house designed in 1929 by architect Gustaaf Van Meel, who signed it, for Hubert Boost, in Deurne; it belongs to a row of houses on Boekenberglei illustrating the diversity of interwar Art Deco. The façade with cornice, on a high bluestone plinth, combines white natural stone and red brick, with varied window shapes and decoration of rolls, meanders and stone volumes. A three-sided bay window, crowned by a pavilion under a zinc roof, rises over two storeys. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
