Art Deco town house built for J. Meulemeester to a 1928 design by Flor Van Reeth, part of the architect's mature work; it is related to the Flipo house of 1930 in Albertstraat. The sober two-bay, three-storey façade with cornice under a mock mansard, in red brick with imitation stone, a white natural-stone door surround and a bluestone plinth, is marked by a three-sided bay window on the bel-étage and a mock mansard treated as an attic. The basket-arched doorway, decorated with a strapwork keystone and leaf garlands, keeps its finely worked wooden door with a flower basket, wrought-iron grille and brass fittings, as do the garage door, windows and wooden cornices. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
