Apartment building in the Art Deco style created for the engineer Jan Karel Andersen to a 1927-1928 design (façade stone) by the architect Raymond Ceurvorst: a neoclassical mansion of the 1870s-1880s was entirely remodelled, raised, extended and given a new façade, with one more storey added during construction in 1928. The symmetrical natural-stone façade, with a ground floor in green flamed marble, is framed by projections with three-sided oriels and crowned in the centre by a triangular pediment topped by a flower basket, with floral Art Deco decoration and varied balconies on stepped corbels. The entrance hall and stairwell survive intact, with their marbles, Art Deco light fittings and the Daelemans lift with a mahogany car. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
