Large Art Deco apartment building designed in 1923 by the architect Adolphe Van Coppernolle for O. Philippart, who had the existing houses demolished. The monumental rendered façade, with six storeys under a flat roof and three wide bays, is articulated by narrow windows grouped in threes; the central bay is crowned by a raised cornice and a frieze of lozenge motifs, repeated in the iron window railings and the door. Each floor holds a spacious flat; the lift, installed in 1937 by the Antwerp lift builder Thièry, retains its wooden car and brass control panel. It is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
