Group of six Art Deco apartment buildings designed in 1934 and 1935 by the architect Charles De Wys for the cooperative society Le Comptoir national des Matériaux. Laid out in a U around a private tree-lined square open to the street, it rises six storeys beneath a tall mansard roof housing two further levels. Facing the square, three façades of eight bays each have their six central bays projecting; the middle storeys are of brick, the first and top storeys rendered, and the windows sit beneath a continuous rendered lintel. Several of the buildings retain their original Jaspar or Otis lifts. The group is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
