Art Deco block of flats built in 1924 to plans by the architect Charles De Wys, replacing a house of 1834. The four-storey façade of four unequal bays, in brick enhanced with white imitation-stone rendered elements, is punctuated by geometric pilasters. On the ground floor, a metal door under a transom is flanked by two shopfronts, now altered. A trapezoidal oriel fronts the second and fourth bays and supports a terrace with a wrought-iron balustrade; the windows of the entrance bay retain their stained glass. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
