On the corner of Rue Garibaldi, an Art Deco apartment building constructed in 1929 by the architect Charles De Wys. On a base of bluestone and sandstone rubble, the elevation plays on the contrast between render and brick. It has five storeys, with four unequal bays on Rue Garibaldi, a curved corner bay and two bays on Rue Antoine Bréart; some upper-floor bays are corbelled out. The corner openings are treated as triplets and the small-paned frames retain textured glass in some transoms, beneath a broadly projecting cornice and a mansard roof. The building retains its original Schindler lift; it is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
