Modest Art Deco multi-family house, designed in 1925 by the architect Robert Soebert for Auguste Roelants, an office clerk. It is one of the few known works by Soebert, who was active as an architect for only about ten years. The terraced house with a front garden has three storeys and three bays under a flat roof; the cornice façade combines red brick with a rendered bay window and ground floor imitating stone, on a stone plinth. The inventory highlights the decorative expression of the fairly closed façade: bonding with pilasters in English bond, side piers in brick-on-edge courses and a brick mosaic crowning the central axis, which is also marked by the two-sided bay window of the bel-étage. Only the entrance door keeps its original joinery; the house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
