Art Deco house designed in 1928 by the architect Robert Soebert for Suzanne Klecker, who moved in in January 1929; in 1924 Soebert had already built an apartment building for her in the Uitbreidingstraat. The inventory describes it as a clearly Art Deco design, whose main features are the continuous two-sided bay window and the geometric lines of the ironwork of the two gateways and of the decoration of the cornice, the bay-window corbel and the door surrounds. It has three storeys and a mansard floor; the rendered ground floor has two rectangular door openings that keep their Art Deco ironwork, and the two red-brick upper storeys carry the bay window. The balcony that topped the bay window has gone and the wooden windows have been renewed. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory and stands within the protected townscape of Zurenborg.
