Town house in the Art Deco style, originally including a rental flat, built for August Celis after a 1929 design by Gustave Fierens (façade inscription). The inventory sees this modest project as representative of the architect's mature work, whose architecture evolved in the 1920s and 1930s from a sober Art Deco to a moderate modernism. Set behind a small front garden, the house of two unequal bays and three storeys under a flat roof has a façade of red brick in an expressive bond on a bluestone plinth, white stone being used for the keystone, imposts and drip moulding of the round-arched porch and for the sills and lintels of the windows above. The asymmetrical composition is dominated by the rising three-sided bay window of the wide bay, rendered in imitation stone, with decorative medallions on the parapets. The wooden joinery and the wrought ironwork of the front door and windows survive. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
