Pair of linked Art Deco apartment buildings, eight flats in all, designed in 1925 by the engineer-architect Rob Schenck for Fred Schenck, in Wilrijk. The expressive red-brick architecture, with decorative bonds, relief ornament and a broadly projecting roof punctuated by straight or trapezoidal dormers, shows the direct influence of the Amsterdam School. The corner is treated as a rising three-sided bay. The ensemble is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
