Art Deco apartment building constructed in 1931 by the architect A. Tréfois on the site of an 1866 house. The partly rendered brick façade has two unequal bays and five storeys; the ground floor has been altered. In the main bay a trapezoidal oriel spans the first two upper floors, flanked by triangular pilasters topped by a sculpted basket. The top floor has two small polygonal openings, the main one set in a large rendered geometric surround, beneath a broadly projecting cornice that follows the stepping of the bays. Originally the shop-window transom bore the inscription “a l'empereur” in stained glass. The building is recorded in the inventory of architectural heritage.
