Apartment building in a sober Art Deco style, designed in 1931 by the architects Raymond Ceurvorst and Cornelius Sol for Theodoor Jacobs, sole agent for Belgium and Luxembourg of the Dutch firm Berkel; the ground floor housed the firm's showroom and offices, the upper floors four large apartments. The five-storey façade combines a ground floor faced with black veined marble and upper floors in yellow brick with 'Dudok' joints, articulated by polygonal pilasters and marked in the centre by three-sided oriels over three storeys. The steel shopfront and the wrought-iron door survive, as does the lift installed in 1939 by the Antwerp lift builder Thièry.
