Art Deco town house that the architect Ferdinand Van Mierlo created for himself to a 1925 design (inscription on the façade), through the radical conversion of a neoclassical house from the second half of the 19th century; a first, more modest project dates from 1924. The new three-storey façade under a flat roof, in dressed white stone on a flat bluestone plinth, is dominated by a bow window rising from its stepped base up to the cornice. Colossal clustered piers, geometric friezes and reliefs, typical of Van Mierlo's geometric Art Deco, enliven the façade, and the entrance retains a door with Art Deco ironwork and stained glass with a palm-tree motif.
