Art Deco apartment building designed in 1928 by the engineer-architect Léon De Vroey (according to an inscription) for the butcher Theophile Schevelenbos. The four-storey façade with cornice, in red brick and white natural stone on a bluestone plinth, is dominated by a taller blind entrance bay and stands out for its characteristic brick ornament; the shopfronts and doors have chamfered corners. The ground floor held two shops with living quarters, and each upper floor two five-room apartments.
