Art Deco multi-family house designed in 1935 by Karel Van Looy as a rental property for J. Lorson-Pairon; the same permit application covered an identical building at Venneborglaan 43. Of two bays and three storeys under a flat roof, the top one treated as a slate-clad mansard, it has a cornice façade of brown brick on a rusticated base. The window bay is emphasised by a two-storey bay window with a rounded side, crowned by a balcony with tubular railings and a ball ornament. The joinery is original, with stained glass in polychrome Art Deco motifs in the transoms, as is the front-garden enclosure with tubular railings between brick piers; the plan provided for three flats, one per floor. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
