Town house designed in 1929 by the architect Joan Coninck Westenberg for Maria Amelia Bervoets, in the idiom of the Amsterdam School, a striking variant of Art Deco. It stands out for its very tall roof of glossy red tiles, which houses the first floor and a large attic and is crowned by a tall brick chimney. The brown-brick façade is enlivened by white-painted concrete lintels and a three-sided oriel above the garage; the wooden joinery retains its wrought-iron grilles and fine horizontal glazing bars.
