Town house in a sober Art Deco style, built on the basis of a 1936 permit file for the couple H. Janssens-Klerks by the architect Karel Van Looy, who started from one of his standard plans and added extra details. Of two bays and two storeys under a flat roof, it has a cornice façade of red brick on a rusticated plinth. The wide bay forms a bay window with rounded corners, emphasised horizontally by stone lintels and sills and a blue-stone cornice, and separated from the entrance bay by a brick pier crowned by a copper stork. The door, under a canopy with fanlight and sidelight, is topped by a large oval window in a white-stone surround. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
