Large Art Deco house built to a 1933 design by architect Karel Van Looy for J. Verlegh, in Deurne; the same standard façade recurs several times in the neighbourhood. The red-brick façade with cornice on a rusticated bluestone plinth has a curved bay window over two storeys with floral Art Deco ornament, and a wide round-arched dormer bearing geometric and floral reliefs. The original joinery has gone, as has the ironwork of the door, the garage door and the front-garden railing. The house is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
