A former biscuit factory built in Merksem for the public limited company "Biscuits Le Drapeau" to a design by the architects Vincent Cols and Jules De Roeck of 1923. Damaged during the Second World War, the complex was repaired and converted into a tobacco factory for Tabalux NV to a design of January 1948 drawn up by the architect Joseph Frickel for the Cols and De Roeck practice. The painted two-storey buildings with an Art Deco touch are set around a large courtyard: on the street, a flat-roofed office building of four recessed bays, the right-hand one, with a passage, topped by an undulating crest; at the rear, a long production wing articulated by pilaster strips and, to the south, a warehouse.
