Art Deco villa designed in 1928 by the architect Jan Vanhoenacker for Charles Louis Landuydt, head of the Briqueteries & Ateliers Landuydt in Terhagen, in the “Den Brandt” residential park. It stands out from the district's English-style cottages through a sober, robust brick expressionism derived from contemporary German country houses and mixed with Amsterdam School influences: red Boom brick in decorative Flemish bond, soldier courses above the window frames and as a frieze under the cornice, brick mosaics. The symmetrical front façade has a central projection flanked by three-sided oriels and a massive natural-stone porch; the side windows have relief panels with a repetitive Art Deco pattern. The villa is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
