Once serving the hamlet of Le Gheer and now part of the local branch of the Saint-Henri school, this Art Deco chapel was built in concrete and brick by the contractor Paul Rouzeeuw to designs by the Antwerp architect Van Hoenacker. Dated 1928 on the entrance door jamb, it is characterised by its battered buttresses, the geometric mouldings of the facade rose window, patterned relief brickwork and a tall slate-hung lantern. The interior retains its concrete load-bearing structure spanning the single nave, as well as its original stained-glass windows.
