The parish church of the Saint-Roch district in Halle, built from 1925 to 1928 by Smolderen, Van Beurden and Van Hoenacker. Its reinforced concrete frame, strikingly advanced for the period, is clad in pebble-cement over brick facades in Art Deco style. The trio had already built the churches of Warneton and Bas-Warneton in 1924. The interior is conceived as a total work of art under Smolderen's direction, with building ceramics from the firm Helman; the church has been listed since 1998 and was restored up to 2024.
