Maison Art déco, avenue Paul Deschanel 76

Art Deco house signed and dated on the plinth by the architect Marcel Tock, 1934. The symmetrical yellow brick façade with blue stone dressings has three storeys under a flat roof and a roughcast entablature frieze. A wide trapezoidal bay, under a terrace whose parapet incorporates a wrought-iron grille, fronts a triple window, and carved plant decoration enlivens the front. The broad door with grilled openings and the stepped cornice with trapezoidal mutules survive. The house is recorded in the inventory.
