Maison bourgeoise Art déco, avenue Paul Deschanel 72

Art Deco town house signed on the plinth by the architect Clément Degraeve, 1930. The red brick façade, enhanced with rendered parts, stands on a plinth of pink sandstone rubble. The door is recessed and the bays project on the upper floors, all with stepped surrounds, and panels carry geometric decoration. The railings and the glazed door are of wrought iron; the cornice and the small-paned transom windows survive. The house is recorded in the inventory.
