Art Deco multi-family house with a café, designed in 1928 by the architect Louis Hamaide for Margaretha Beuselinck as the conversion of an existing house, of which probably only the outer walls were kept; it is one of the architect's last known works. The rendered and painted three-bay, three-storey façade, with a chevron-shaped crowning, is vertically articulated by piers treated as pilaster strips. In the design, the tripartite café front with central doorway and the private entrance were topped by trapezoidal fanlights with Art Deco joinery; the present bluestone shopfront, with paired basket arches, may date from a later alteration. The building is recorded in the Flemish architectural heritage inventory.
