Art Deco apartment building designed in 1925 by the architect Joseph Diongre for the contractor J. B. Surkyn, who set up his offices and warehouses there. The symmetrical four-storey façade, in orange brick with bluestone, white stone and granito, bears the date 1925 and is enlivened by continuous trapezoidal balconies interrupted by triangular bay windows. On the ground floor, two recessed porches contain octagonal barred windows; the original joinery, polychromy and stained glass survive. The building is recorded in the legal heritage inventory.
