Three Art Deco buildings designed in 1922 by the architect Joseph Diongre for the Société coopérative saint-gilloise de construction d’habitations à bon marché, a low-cost housing cooperative. Their symmetrical and almost identical elevations, six storeys high and five bays wide, combine washed concrete, rendered elements, red brick and bluestone; a pattern of flat washed-concrete string courses reveals the grid structure of the whole. Doors under a large polygonal canopy, polygonal oriels on triangular brackets, unusual T-shaped windows and balconies with pierced brick parapets enliven the façades, renovated in 1980 by the Van der Looven firm. The buildings are recorded in the statutory inventory.
