An Art Deco apartment building at the corner of Plantin en Moretuslei and Van Den Nestlei, based on a 1923 design by the architect Edward Van Not for the notary Emile Van der Avoort. The original programme comprised eleven high-standard apartments for rent and a caretaker's dwelling. The inventory entry ranks it, together with a second Van der Avoort building, among the most remarkable apartment blocks of the 1920s in Antwerp. It belongs to a group of Art Deco flats drawn by Van Not between 1922 and 1927.
